Just got my Dension wired up from what I think is correct...

I have a m-ask unit, and no mp3 function yet. I wired everything back up and the dension appears to be powered correctly, I powered from the glove compartment. My iPod is charging correctly, this should be the correct power right? I don't want the power to always be on and drain the car.

My real question is after hooking everything back up my CD player still works. Is it supposed to still work after the Dension install? Will the CD player be disabled once I have the coding done with Autologic? Any help would be appreciate, I need to make sure its wired right before putting it back together. I have the newer dension I believe, so there is a Car side and a CDC side, I only have the Car side hooked up.

 

The CD continues to work as normal as the Dension is in addition to the CD player

 

Use CD2. That will be ur ipod.

 

Gotcha so it will show up after the coding, I can't select different cds as of right now...

 

try disconnecting your battery for 5 minutes.That MAY make it work without programming

 

Is the 04 525i considered a most system? The coder I was going to have it done thru was concerned it was a MOST.
