Better question- What does it do and is it also for a 550i?

The only tough part on the 530 engine was getting at the clamp screw near the throttle body. I got everything out and when I got to that point, I was nervous I'd drop my screwdriver in the engine bay, so I had my local shop do it. They did it in 10 mins and I threw them $20.
