So, i have installed and coded bluetooth converter in my pre-lci without any auxport original successfully. But yesterday i tried it on my friends lci with an auxport in the back, so its already programmed from factory. And i plugged it in exactly like in my car, but it did not replace any cables/pins in his either, so it still has the old aux-port and that is where the sound comes from when choosing aux.
Anyone have any ideas? where is the oem aux-port plugged in? Red circle is where the bluetooth device is plugged in (with 3 pins in the contact) The bluetooth device
If there is an external Aux port somewhere in the car (on pre-LCI, it's behind the center console), you can tap into those leads for your sound. See the circled area below.
Okey, do they go from the port all the way to the plug that i posted a picture of? id rather cut them in the center console and place the converter there.
Is there any way to know which 3 cables go where or just trial and error?

I have an E60 LCI with an aux port in the center console ( passenger footwell), and i also ordered a bluetooth adapter to fit behind the CCC, but the place the adapter needs to go already has a plug in it. is there anyway i can work around this?

Are you talking about the 3.5 mm audio plug? If so, you can use a splitter like this:
no i meant use the aux port to build in a bluetooth adapter. So i can cleanly build it in instead of build in my ccc, since that one is already taken.
I was thinking, since the Bluetooth adapter uses the aux port in the ccc, maybe you can use the aux port in the center console instead
Did you say you have the aux jack in the console? Do you also have a USB port there? (You DID say your car is LCI, so you should have one.) I'm assuming your bluetooth adapter needs both. Just plug both the 3.5mm and USB plug into the appropriate ports in your console. Which adapter did you order?
