Installed Ultra Racing tower bar
I got the UR strut bar on top of my stock sport strut bar (two strut bars ftw! lol), front lower bar, and rear lower bar. I'm pretty content with how the handling is now, major improvement.
According to some people complaining about sway bar mount welds breaking I would think these (upper and lower bars) would be more important to have before upgrading the sway bars right? Since there would probably be less stress on the rest of the BMW chassis itself correct?

Think of it this way. If you look at the car from the front and do not install the tower bar, it will be a U shape and the top will move a lot and will crack the welds. If install a tower bar then it will be a box shape which will not have much movements and stronger.
If you mod sway bars or suspension best to install a tower bar to stiffen the top part of the car.
