[/quote]Well - nothing is easy! I took my 5 in to the dealer yesterday for 1 year checkup/oil change (8500 miles), and asked for the rear reflectors. The service advisor called back this morning with a price - $28.95/EACH. This was the part price - not installed. I referred him to the 5 Series accessories booklet that was right in front of his desk, that showed the price at $11.90 each. He hemmed and hawed and said he'd call back - I told him to forget it - I'll order from Bekkers

i know different dealers charge different prices. but that's way too much, almost triple . i think you should have them look up and "correct" the price for you instead of ordering from bekkers. this way they know you won't back down and they know you are willing to "challenge" them. one thing you can try is tell them you called other dealers and they gave you the price on the catalog. then your dealer will match their price. i tried and it worked for me .

Just got back from picking up the car. Service advisor told me he checked and the price list showed "two prices" and that $11.90 was correct.? They didn't have parts in stock.? To tell the truth, I think they were looking for a sucker.? I'd just as soon not do business with them.? So I will order from Bekkers.? No big deal.
