Vegastrashed, I registered for my Dinan badge but apparently they're making a new one for the E60 and it's not out yet.

It's probably carbon fiber and being shaped in a wind tunnel for maximum aerodynamic efficiency when mounted.
Hey, wouldn't it be cool if they made a Dinan roundel with their "D" logo?

Welcome aboard Tony. Your comments make me want to run right out an get the Dinan exhaust.
Would you say your 550 now sounds more like a 650?
Are you going to add the throttle body or any other Dinan goodies?
We need![Coolpics](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/coolpics.gif)

Not sure if I will add any other Dinan upgrades. I would consider the cold air intake and throttle body if they were available. Right now the Dinan web site shows the throttle body will not be available until Nov/Dec and there is nothing yet on the cold air intake.

The sound never gets old my friend, Congrats
Just so you guys know
The difference with the "new" exhaust is not the muffler itself but for the inlet pipe to the muffler. My car was the first 2007 550 that Dinan put the exhaust on and they had to spend an extra 3 hours to fab a new inlet pipe. Unfortunately they only had my car for a couple days and not enogh time to make a whole new prototype.
But goods news for MY530i beacause I got him a FREE Dinan exhaust!!!!![Innocent](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/innocent.gif)
Here is a good shot when Dinan was installing the exhaust.

So many thanks for JetBlack for referring my to his brother who is also a very helpful and nice salesperson at Dinan headquarter. Don't hesitate to call Filipe at Dinan at 408-779-8584 and he'll give you super good deal ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)
I was about to get CAI from other engineer at Dinan, but some guinea pig was already ahead in the line
Damn it!

I want it too. Do you get the exhaust from Dinan and have dealer install it or does the BMW parts department sell it? I guess I could just call, but your comments would be helpful.
Thanks.
Thanks.
