Got a new toy today.
HD DVR video recorder from China which is OK for the price. ($46usd)
sorry they only have this site in Chinese

The resolution is ok not too bad
I have recorded a night shot which is ok.
The time and date is not right, I have not set it up yet.
I will recorded a day time 1 in the morning

good side
1. Very cheap toy
2. Easy to use
3. Built in rechargeable battery.
4. SD card up to 32GB
5. Small to put in pocket

down side
1. Can not recorded files more than 15mins
2. Dose not support wide screen format.

It'd be great if it had a time lapse timer and could be set to monitor activity near-by when car was parked!

you can recharge the battery to full and let it run when the car is parked
but I have not tested how long the battery can last.
it would be better if diy the power core to the car and then it will have power all the time.
I have a 4GB card and it can recorded up to 2h30mins
so a 32gb card car recorded up to 20h

Man your drive like a girl! lol jk, That's a pretty neat toy it would be even better if you could just keep it plugged in somehow while driving around like through a car charger maybe?

there is a charger with it and it is full time on.

I was testing it and 15min a vid is too much
I have set it to 5 min each
Why because when you what to play back on the machine you spend too much time forwarding it.
and if you what a part to up load on the net you will need to edit it.
so 5 mins is the best time for working with.
I got 60 min out of a 4gb card at the middle setting and I think that more that you can watch
