best pic i've seen finally on a black e60. so dont worry about your (soon to be obsolete ) iphone, atleast it can still take some great pics. i'm seriously considering this mod. one question though, do these just paste/stick right on or does it replace the original pillars? thanks for the pics.
These have 3M adhesive sticker on the entire back and goes over the oem pillars.. I know sounds cheesey.. look at the Bimmian website http://www.bimmian.com/CDP/60 for pic on how it looks on the back

Thanks for all the compliments.. and I also appreciate the honest negative feedback.. I need to really take a look at it today in the direct sun light and see if this was a worthwhile mod.. haha.. regardless I'll be keeping it on since it's already been purchased and applied to the car.. and then I'll check myself into a carbon fiber mod rehab clinic..

The stickers are really strong, I've had mine for a few months now and I have my car jet washed nearly once a week and they haven't even peeled at all!!

My gf thinks I am CF crazy as well.
I have found CF toilet seats, tissue holders, towel holders etc for when I do get my own place. My den will be kitted out in CF

I agree, I wouldn't want them on my car, but somehow on the black it works well. May work well on AW as well. Just not crazy about it on Silver.

Don't know about this one Fiel.

Calton also has these on his Silverstone M5 and I don't think I like them either. I've always thought they were tacky but guess I'll wait to check out your car in person.

Not for me but if you like it, that's all that counts.

Thinking about the CF hood and CF trunk a la PTL? That one would shave about 40 pounds off your ride's weight.

I think a CF hood will look very good on your sapphire black car.
