I bought it from member "wacopolumbo", but I don't know where he got it from.. maybe he'll chime in.. they are replicas, but really good quality. The iDrive knob didn't come out clear in my pics, so here is a photo I found online.. it has more weight than the oem iDrive knob which makes it feel more sturdy.

I bought the iDrive knob cover on ebay for $50 a while back. Then I bought the spare knob from a forum member and glued it together.

I agree, it does make it feel more sturdy.
