My Ride: 2007 550i, Mystic Blue over Auburn, 6-Manual, Sports, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7, Nav, Sirius, MTec Front & Sides with M5 rear apron, VIS Penta carbon fiber vented hood, OEM M166s, (or Style 101M with winter 19 Blizzaks), BMW Blue Calipers, Custom Quad Exhaust and M5 side grills, trunk finisher and spoiler. Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
I love those wheels- remind me of my old e39 M sport. I have rep 19's for my winter wheels. I like the look better than my OEM 166s. Sounds like you made a GREAT deal- I wish I could've found OEM 101s but the reps are direct replacements using all the stock hub bore, offsets, lugs and caps and such so we'll see how the Italians build these wheels.
Great mod!

As far as I know (not the first owner) the car is on OEM sport suspension. Maybe aging suspension?
Thoughts?

I thought it all felt too good to be true. I heard a rub on my way home today. I was turning right and crossed over a small dip that caused the car to roll a little. I heard a rub from the front right so I tried it to the left. Small rub. It is definitely not the end of the world but I wonder where it is hitting. They are 245/35 up front. Perhaps I should go to a 245/30? The shop said they would take them back if they rubbed.

I just love the 20" OEM rims on the 5er, like these type M101 or the Radial Spoke 32. It looks purposeful, but also has so much class.
(I can see myself coming back to this post and visiting Ebay a few times again soon...
