Well I will say this much, it definitely isn't done by causing abrasion to the ring itself using product like Goo Off and variations. Like Spediegunz has said, Goof Off most definitely will eat into the plastic and cause it to look cloudy/damaged. I've stupidly used it on my side marker, and ended up just tossing them out because of how messed up it looked to me.

Simon you are a great innovator in my book . If I wasn't to involved in my CIC project, I would have you do the orion mod on my LCI headlights.

my educated guess is the the brightness was increased via the little white boxes....the brighter those LEDs shine, the less pronounced the gap btwn each LED...only thing is....the Orions are far too bright at night to me as is....this would make it worse imho. either way bro, i love the tinkering, looks good in the daylight for sure

Well, I am thinking that if Orions v4 don't get made for 3 and 5 series, this would definitely be a nice way to fill the gap
