IMO Difficult Body Style For Matching Wheels
Maybe I have been looking at wheels way to much and am burned out but I find the E60 body style very hard to find nice matching wheels for.
Any coupe sports car looks great with all the variations of wheels from deep lips to the concave look but on this car none most of those wheels don't appeal to me. I thought I narrowed my search down to OEM styel 128, 166, or 179 but now I am tired of looking at those wheels as well. My problem is summer is here and my impatience won't allow me to step back and take a fresh approach later on.
I know this is a very personal taste type of question but is there a wheel style I am missing that makes a tasteful statement? Keep in mind I prefer the flush face and concave center look the most.
P.S. My car is Alpine White.

I think wheels like the M3 M you linked to are too busy for this car style. The coupes and smaller cars can pull off the look but this bigger sedan looks out of place and that's my problem. Sometimes I look at something like a Miro 111 wheel and like it and other times I don't think I will be happy for the next 3 years of ownership.

For OEM I would do 166 over 167 but those are the only OEM's I would consider.
Persoanlly, if your not doing 166 then there are even better options going into 20inch with other brands

And of course your budget comes to factor in as well.
