Iluuminated door sills - do you have the TIS for these?

Hi,
On another forum, someone mentioned that these had a high failure rate on 04-05 models (on E63s, but i assume this was also the case on the fives).
Can anyone (Rudy, Cobradav, etc) provide a TIS document which describes this problem? I want to take this to my dealer to prove that the sills on my car failed because of manufacturing defects.

? If so, then no, there is no service bulletin on the matter. BMW did not feel it necessary and simply changed vendors back in 2005, more likely due to testing at factory than actual failures in the field. These should be expected to last longer than the car itself and even a 1 in a 1000 failure rate is probably too high.
