I have a 04 525i non sport package but i optioned for the 17' sport wheels and tires. If you had the chance....
Would you go with H&R springs and Sways or the Koni FSD Eibach spring and strut kit?

I'd do Eibach Pro-kit and Koni, but not FSD -- go for the Sport's (single adjustable). I had this combo on an E46 that did not come with the sport package and really liked it. Upgraded sways would also be good with this setup.

Strange, on Koni's web site if you put in the kind of car it only shows the FSD, but if you go to the catalog it shows that there are Sports for the application as well. Here is what they say about the Sports in general:
"The KONI Sport product line is one of our specialties. KONI serves sporting drivers with a carefully designed range of sport shock absorbers and suspension kits with lowering springs. This line focuses on exceptional road-holding and handling properties, combined with an acceptable level of comfort. Its characteristics include responsive steering, improved body control and limited body movements when braking and accelerating, all resulting in a direct feel and excellent wheel-road contact."
Sounds like if you want to retain a stock ride (or softer) with inproved handling go with the FSD's (with Eibach's), for a little stiffer feel go with the Sport (which would work well with Eibach or H&R Sport). For me I would go with the Sport, since I think the E60 is too soft even with the factory sport package.

I think I might still lean toward the Koni Sports -- I plan to do a couple of track days a year and it would be nice to have be able to adjust it tighter for that, but overall the FSD sounds pretty good.
Cheapest prices I've seen are $625 for Sport and $675 for FSD.

Make sure you DO NOT have active roll stabilization (ARS), because if you do, you can not switch out your sway bars.
However, I don't think you need to worry because it only comes with sport, but there always that possibility your car was ordered with just the ARS.
