So, last month or so when I start the car occasionally, the screen has an overall blue hue to it. Within about 5 minutes it goes away and all is well, so I never thought a whole lot about it.. but today it came on blue and lasted all day. Everything operates as normal but just blue, could this be CCC, Video cable or just the video display? Thoughts??

This happened to me too (2005 530i). The screen would consistently go blueish after 45 minutes of driving. I was still under warranty luckily. It took the dealer a few days to reproduce it, but they eventually replaced the screen. No problems since.

This is my second control unit, I had an m-ask unit which fried on me so I upgraded to pro nav ccc from an 06 m6. If you are getting it replaced out of warranty at the dealer, I'm sorry! It'll be pricey .

I hope not.... it seems something about fuses. I will pray!

Yeah my warranty expired last year but the car has warranty only for the engine but not electronic parts.. that sucks!

They said there are 6 fuses that need to check.... I only found 1 and it is fine....

I wish I knew where the other 5 are located.

After a long time of what can only be described as? hilarity? We?ve isolated the problem as the LVDS cable. Next issue ? The parts people here say the can?t find the cable as a single order item. I?ve had no luck on Realoem either.. how the heck do I replace this thing??

Did you mean this one? -> http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/66210407006/
I've came up to it by browsing parts of the rear parking cam for installation without
front cam and with navi business, which is http://bmwfans.info/parts/catalog/66210406999/#set

Greets
