I have an 08 523i touring without the factory extended light package (code 563).

As you may know, this includes door handle lights, door blade(?) lights and footwell lights, aswell as puddle lights in the mirrors.

I don't care that much about the puddle lights in the first place, but I would really like to add the door handle lights, door blade lights and footwell lights.

I've seen that the footwell part is quite easy, but the doors is a different story.

The lights and housing etc. can be bought at a local dealer, but as my car is an 08 I understand that the connections ain't there, and everything in the door goes to an KGM(?)-module

Is it even possible to to this the OEM way? Is it possible to buy a KGM-module from a car with these options from factory and replace it, or is it possible to code this some way?

What about the wiring, are there any free slots on the module?

I'm quite new to e60s, so I haven't figured out how everything hangs together yet.

Hope someone can help.
