Can it be done, and who and were can i get it done, preferably in the London area would be good.
Any cost indications, is it hardware or software.
Been wanting this for a long time, but thought the BMW Dealer asking price of ?700 plus vat was just to outrageous.
THNAK YOU TO ANYONE THAT CAN SHED SOME LIGHT ON THIS.

The official one is a hardware install and I'm pretty sure you have to have the hardware programmed into the car as well. Have you asked about the ACM module, or is that what you are going for?
Does sound expensive, I've had my iPod kit (complete with various outputs) installed locally for ?160 for what was an all day job. Looking at the ACM install instructions I can't see it being as difficult but you would have to have it programmed by a BMW dealer afterwards.
Is that for a digital tuner? As the analogue ones won't work for much longer with the upcoming switch off.

I don't know if there are different types of TV available, but if it helps, mine also has Pro Nav. It does analogue AND digital TV (freeview for example).

yeh i would interested in that, but what is acm module and how do i know that if i got one, and how do i find it.
Is this something like a swap of headunit, or do i have to go to bmw to get it all working?

Its an add on module to the existing pro nav. Gives you two parking camera inputs (front and rear) and a composite input that you can feed from a DVD player or similar source.
You'll need the AUX input (no sound without it) and a suitable source installing at the same time. The installation could be carried out by anybody competent with car electrics.
More info on it here, including the installation instructions.
Heres a link to an ebay auction for it.
