Can this be retrofitted to pre-LCI?

I wonder if the shift knob for the Sport Auto Transmission (top picture) can be fitted onto a LCI E60 with the standard Auto Transmission shift know (bottom picture)? Shift knob for the Sport Auto Transmission looks way better IMO~

Maybe I'm missing something...whats the difference between the LCI and pre-LCI climate controls?

hahaha. i remember when i was a newbie how i hated when i used to be told " USE THE SEARCH BUTTON". i would used to say TO MYSELF, "I DONT WANNA USE IT,IF I WANTED TO F*** USE IT, I WOULDNT HAVE POSTED HERE,SO JUST TELL ME WHERE TO FIND THE MY GOD DAMN TOPIC" HAHAHA.

a month later, found out it does really help a lot , so people JUST USE IT
