Hey fellow 5ers,

I am finally feeling like blacking out my car and I have a few questions:

Which shadowline trim looks better (Vinyl or actual replacement) and where can I buy it?

I have a black car and a CF hood so should I roll with black or CF grilles?
If black grilles, should I get glossy or matte?

Also my windows are all 35% tint except the front windshield, should I get that tinted also?

onlinebmwparts.com. Got my set for about $240. I started with the vinyl for the shadowline. I didn't like it and it wasn't that durable. OEM is way better and it's easy to install.

You have to do a search by part number. Here are the 8 parts you would need

51337072883
51337072884
51357072887
51357072888
51217135161
51217135162
51227135163
51227135164

And the shadowline DIY thread:

Before I order is there any difference between the Collision Catalog option and the OEM catalog or are they the same?

I don't know, I never checked. I just had the part numbers from the DIY and just ordered. When you plug those numbers in, it would let you know that a new part number is available. This was done automatically and only for a couple of the parts.
