to the OP or anyone else that might know the answer.
Do i need CIC for this ? Or will the old CCC system work just fine.
Also is it possible to get this done aswell with CIC and then code in bluetooth with combox on an E60.
Do you need to do anything with the wiring or just replace the components ?
If anyone has a full set for sale lemme know.

I believe the Individual audio came out in 2008 which the CCC was still the NAV unit so it should work with both CCC/CIC.
I personally have the Individual audio/ , CIC and combox all retrofitted into my 2007 so that should work. The stereo system is a direct plug n play (with coding) on any Logic 7 car (hifi or base will need a bunch of wiring)

I have the Logic 7 in my 2007 LCI e60. with the combox do you also get bluetooth music ? i realy want to retrofit that eventualy as its annoying me with the aux.
I'm assuming coding or finding someone to code for me shouldnt be a big deal. I have Ista and other programs so with a bit of help i can do it myself probably.
Yep, assuming you have a TCU or MULF, just re-pin the connector for the combox and code it in. You'll need an E chassis combox and some custom coding (its really not that hard) since the E60 never came with it. Then ya bluetooth streaming becomes a thing but you will need a CIC to put the combox in

I have no idea what TCU or MULF is, but the info is a start. I'm sure there's a separate discussion or post on this topic.

Wiring question
Since I have no access to any BMW schematic at this moment, I’m stuck with a silly question.
On other forums, I read about a bridge wire that has to me made in the MOST cable, going to the amplifier.
The guy stated I have to bridge pin 1 and pin 2 to turn the amp on.
I am currently retrofitting Dirac on my E60, coming from H/K Logic 7.
I do have a satellite radio module, and an ULF near my amplifier, that have 2 wires along the MOST cable.
The MOST cable to the amp only has the fiberoptic cables.
Since we both have the e6x 5 series, is that wire really necessary? On the smaller cars people are bridging the amplifier.
im not looking for a goose chase haha.
I cannot find it on your post, so maybe you have some info about it?
i am 99% done, just sceptical to install the amp before I break something, this stuff is expensive haha.
Some amps have it (the one in my E61 I needed to do the jumper) whereas the factory one in my E90 doesnt have it(just different versions).
The jumper would be in the power connector on the amp only and some google images (e90s are more common and exactly the same part) should tell you exactly where.
Try it without the jumper and if its still not working after install/coding; then try with the jumper.

so after contemplating the amp swap, I just said f it and went for it.
great news, the amp works!
Last Friday I also changed the L7 woofers to the LPG Dirac drivers.
must be said that I’m pretty disappointed by the woofers change, I think the coding will solve it though.
it just isn’t as prominent as it was with the L7 woofers, with the current Dirac amplifier.
regarding the coding, does anyone here maybe have a coding step by step guide? I daily this car so I cannot make a mistake.
I do have all the software available, including ista etc.
