My Ride: 2005 545i /w Sport pkg - SMG - Nav - Premium pkg - PDC - Ready to begin my modding! =)
So I was in Best Buy today doing some shopping and I came across this I-Pod interface....

Seems like a pretty reasonable price has anyone used this, how well does it intergrate with the I-Drive....
I wonder if you still have to go to the dealer to get programming.
When I looked in the box it looked like it was more then just a aux in type system.

Nice find. I looked into it a little and there is not much info available on their site. Check out this link to a pdf of theirs. It says not compatible with factory iDrive systems.

They made an e60 without iDrive? Really? My 545 is a 2004 (first US year of e60, right?), and it has iDrive.. LOL
Stupid marketing people need to do more homework.

i saw that a few months ago when i was looking for the solution cheaper then the real way to hook up the ipod. i was looking at that best buy one thinking the same thing. i have an 08 so it was out of the question. then i went to the dealer and spent 500 bucks.
