I pod Interface?

My Ride: 08' 528xi Space Gray 20' Beyers Mesh staggered
Ok I have a 95 525i and I don't have a cd changer and mi dash cd don't play mp3's but I got built in bluetooth in my iDrive that works, what do I need for the I-pod interface, and how can I check the sofware version in my car?

do you have Nav and does your car have push start button , if yes then with an update you can enable Mp3 cd playback , if no nav and pre 09/05 vehicle then your only option is software update and iPod BMW interface or more simplier AUX input for any external stereo device
