Here's some info if you didn't already know:

For running 19s recommended tire size is 245/35/19 which gives you an outside diameter of 25.75". So like PJ said, the best size to get is 245/30/20 -- outside diameter 25.79". The only tires I can get a good discount on are Toyo and Falken. If you're interested in the Toyo T1R & Falken Fk452, let me know and I can get you pricing.

Good job Michael, I personally really like Toyo - when I was racing my Accord I used them for the track (yes, R-compound).

My Toyo prices are probably the best -- I hope.

Toyos and Falkens are good too, yes.

I have michelin pilot sports and they are GRRRRRREAT!!! I love em, grippy in wet and dry (see my album for pics of the tread). They aren't cheap, but oh so worth it. A good alternative is General Xclaims UHP's, Alpine White Girl has them and likes em.
+1 Pilot Sport PS2 FTW! :-)

+1 for Falkens. and yes Toyos are great tires as well, even if they are more pricey

While we're on the subject, between Falkens, GEs and Hankooks, which one is the best summer ultra-high performance tire?

For me it would be

1) Falken
2) Hankook
3) GE

Thanks, Michael. I was a little surprise, bc I'd have approximated the Hankook to be the best, but I don't have enough experience with either to have formed an opinion. I have heard a LOT of excellent reviews about Hankooks and Falkens though - A LOT!

So, vendors:

Can we get prices out in the open for all of these? I think the 245/30/20 is a VERY common size on this forum, so is 285/25/20, and 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 <==these four sizes are what I've seen most people use on e60s.

My tire prices definitely aren't the best out there. So I'll let other vendors chime in. I'm partial to Falken so that's just me. Other love Hankook.

I mean, there must be a reason for this bias - that's what I'm trying to find out.
