Go with 20's........imho. 19's don't fill the gap well enough, unless you..."drop it like its hot!".....

GO WITH 20's!

Make sure the offsets are high enough for the xi. And there aren't too many 20's that will fit an xi either. How about 19" CSL reps?

And I hope you are planning to drop your car if you go with 19's or 20's (or even 18's...Rick!). 19's on a non-lowered xi will look silly!

i like the m3 wheels i think im probably going to going to go with them, what would it take to lower my car, is it just springs? And now to persuading my wife into accepting the fact that i need rims when "the car already has rims," and "how much are they?!"

I agree with the majority

you should get them i think they would look

great on a 535xi, It gives it a sporty look when your driving by.

Well im no expert...But i know how to use PS enough to put rims on you car and lower it! Just shoot me a pic of your car and the diff wheels you want and ill try my best
