ok guys, ive made up my mind.

i need new rims and i think im going to go for the m6 style rims, #167's i believe.
I hear the OEM ones cost close to $3k so im all about the replicas. Definately going with the 19's. Anybody know a good place to order these?
What's a good tire size where ride quality is not sacrificed? Im all about the ride so i dont want to sacrifice any part of it.
Any particular brand of tire i should stay away?

Anything else i need to keep in mind?

Thanks for the help fellas!!

I think if you want comfort, 18" is the max you can go.

19's without runflats are fine in terms of the ride quality.

OEM tyre sizes are on the www.e60.net information page.

I went from 18" OEM RF to M 166's 19" Michelin PS2 non-RF and increased both comfort and performance (run flats  ). I'd stay with the OEM 167's instead of replicas and look for discount from Garry of BMW Newport (sticky on mod section) or west coast (assuming you are in North America). Good luck.

Try bmwwheels.com They have oem wheels and they are very reasonable, you'll be better off with original wheels.

Location updated, Im in Northern VA by the way, a good 20 minutes from Washington Dc.

I really want the 19's so i am going to stick with them, i currently have 17's so jumping to 18's isnt a huge difference so the 19's are my pick.

I dont think im going to go with the run flats.

19 inch run flats would be like concrete boots
