Ok I finally took my car the the dealer and they had my car for 2 weeks and they can't get the funtion working on my car, is this possible to have folding mirrors on a U.S 07 530 (E60), is there way to get the folding mirrors? Can I use BMW INPA or INPA NCS Expert to get the funtion working. I need help!!!
It might be possible for someone to do the prgramming via inpa, but I have yet to see anyone do it successful here. I have a 2004 530i
and I was able to get the folding option working correctly by adding a folding module to the car. I have since sold the
mirrors to a friend of mine and did the install for him too. It's a long and tedious
process but doable. Where in united states are you?

Hey nigxdoof, thanks for the quick reply, I'm located in Queens, NY by Springfield Blvd, pretty close to you. Right now I got both OEM non-M5 power folding mirrors and the side window switch panel, so you are saying if I add the folding module I should be able to get this feature working? where can I get the module. Thanks again for the help!

after late 2005 they moved all the door functions to the body and safetey gateway module and removed the door modules completly, yours will not have door modules and the mirrors are wired into the body and safety gateway module. shouldnt be too difficult to do but the car will need programming in order for the mirrors to function correctly.

Re. the above, thanks for the link. I'm sure that site will come in very useful.
However, I had a look on the spaghetticoder site for the wiring diagram for my pre-2005 left hand side (passenger side on my UK model) power folding door mirror but couldn't find it. Does anyone know if there is an online diagram for the euro cars please ?

Hmmm, this looks like it might be the right one (http://wds.spaghetticoder.org/en/svg...0000019777.svg), but can anyone that's played with one of these mirrors confirm this is the 3 loom version (with door modules, i.e. pre 2005) please ?
