Darker parts are not black actually, but dark grey instead. The door cards were reupholstered. I severed the parts and took them to a professional to be covered with a leatherette.
I'm back at home now and will continue working the car tomorrow again.

We're not so far from the finished mod anymore
.
Some assembling has still to be done though...
Yesterday Eric continued piling up the doorcards and they're done now.

Today there was quite a mess in a car when we removed the old front seats.

Eric relocated the belt tensioners from old seats to the new ones.

I did the wiring for the subwoofer gain controller.

The controller knob will be located in a small compartment on lower left in a dash. I made a hole for the cable and put a gasket to cover it and to make the hole look finished.

Eric wanted to clean the carpet throughoutly before installing the new seats. That was actually a good idea.

After vacuuming and AutoGlym Interior Shampoo.
