Thanks for all the info, guys. I know of a few places to call and see what they can do. I'll also check the vendors associated with this forum. My first thought was to snatch that guy up, but then he said "that's with the discount, we usually charge $5,000". I was happy to find out he had a soft spot in his heart. I'll keep you posted on what I find.

My best friend is parts manager for a BMW dealership. I obviously have a "hook up" but since he is out-of-state he always advises me to find a "non-dealer" service shop.

I just found a BMW Certified Master Tech with his own shop. $160 for oil change and brake flush. Good deal IMO.
I was wondering what a local shop here might charge me to flush my brake fluid. I was thinking $300. Glad to hear it may not be that high.

...Because I almost killed the parts guy. I am just kidding about that but be told me that a body kit cost $$4300 installed and I almost lost it. Maybe I'm a little naive to all of this but I didn't think it cost that much. I've been waiting all winter to start getting this set up for the spring now it just looks like I'll be getting rims and tires. Is there a less expensive option for a quality aero kit. I love my car but not that much. $4300 for plastic trim seems a bit ridiculous to me.

---

Yes I know it is expensive, and the BEST BMW OEM parts prices is Garry at BMW of Newport. He gives us e60 members 25% off BMW MSRP Prices.

Hope this helps and good luck!!

Your stealer's price quote is insanely high. F your stealer and the horse he rode in on.

Gene's advice is sound. Take it. There are far better options available to you.
