Hello guys

hopefully someone can help, didn't know where to post ... last week I bought a set of wheels and I installed them.. had to put spacers on them because they didn't fit properly... yesterday I took the car out for a test drive and I noticed that maybe like 1 or 2 times it was rubbing on my shock.. so I contacted the seller for a refund as he stated on the add that the wheels fit properly .. the question is on paypal filing a dispute can I get a refund or maybe from my credit card? anyone that maybe have a similar situation and has experience that can help...
Thanks a lot

If the wheels are not as stated in the auction, you can indeed file a paypal claim and should have no problem prevailing. That being said, Paypal claims are much easier to resolve if you paid with a Credit Card. If the Palpal claim does for some reason fail, you can file a dispute with your CC company and resolve the issue.

Just curious, can you show us the spec/info on the wheels you got?

Hey solrac-

I was the one interested in your mtech and 166's. Did you ever sell the car you were trying to sell?

the specs are 235/35/19 295/30/19 carrera s II wheels offsets don't know but the rears are rubbing a bit on my shock normally It would be the rears 265/30/19 .

I contacted the seller and he was very mad, he said that he doesn't have money I have to wait a week and he will charge me a $100 for strees that I have caused him, he also wanted to give me a check.. I told him to give me a paypal refund.. but he was like no I don't want to deal with paypal anymore..

I called paypal and they said I don't have any protection from them.. so I am alone now... if the payment is made via my CC.. can I do a charge back and returned the wheels? the seller is local...

thanks for any advice

This seller sounds like a real asshole. If it's a credit card, call them ASAP. This guy intentionally screwed you.

$100 for stress that YOU caused HIM? Gimme a break!
