530E60NL - silver grey is a great color. You'll like it. Here is another picture with more sun light.

rabih11 - I sent you the info.

Great looking car! Please fill me in on the clear bra. I assume you purchased it for protection? How does it work? Can you see it at all? What is the aprox cost?

Thanks
Jon

Wow this looks great. I've been trying to track down a place here in Atlanta that has that same tint. When you say 40%, what does that mean? Your car is beautiful!!!!

I found a very good tint guy, but he doesn't use that film. Has something else. It was going to be $275 for him to come to my house and tint the car...

katmai: WOW!!! You let the kids in the car. Heck, even if I got the rear seat cover I won't let my dogs in the car. Just last weekend I had to take them to the vet, so I called Avis and rented a car for the day. Cost was $29.99 out the door.

You're a better man than me.

jksanford: I could be wrong, and some correct me if I am, but it means that it lets in 40% of the sunlight.

Beautiful car! That is actually my favorite color - but I didn't think the beige interior would match...so I got jet black. Looks great but high maintenance.

Remember that it is the ceramic Huper Optik that is touted as being non metallic and best for radio reception. The metallic is said to interfere with radio signals. I have the ceramic 30 which has the highest heat rejection of any of the HO ceramics.

You will see the beige will match the exterior perfect.. I've seen it in real life last week for the first (my new car) and it was a gamble how it would look because almost nobody orders it. So I ordered it without seeing it in real life and it turned out great!!!

I feel butterflies in my stomach looking at the pictures of your car, it looks great!!

jksanford - 40% means it lets 40% light through. I found the installer (mobile service based in Costa Mesa, CA - http://http://www.wintechtinting.com) refered to me by Huper Optik.

jzerden - The 3M clear bra is a paint protection film for the front of hood, head lamps, side mirrors, bumper and door edges. Yes, you can see the film lines, when you are standing close to the car. I was getting a lot of stone chips on the front bumpers caused by the freeway debris, so I decided to get the clear bra. The film and installation was about $550. $25 extra to get the door edges.

GotBMW - Yes, I do need to let my kids and wife ride in the car. That's why I got the 4 doors car.

530E60NL - I've seen beige interior many times at the dealer. Your color combo looks great.

100% is no tint.

5% would be a limo tint, black, very dark
