5 hour install, I didn't get charged the full time, but the XI is REALLY a pain in the ass. Taking the parts off and getting parts on at points took 2 mechanics working together.

YES, the main mechanic was a BMW Master tech for 9 years. He says its just the XI's are more of a pain. You have to take apart the whole inner fenders and the install is just time consuming. ESP on the E60 xi's

Yes, Turner Motorsports is also charging 5 hours of work for the H&R spring install. Here is their quote from today:
H&R Sport Springs: $245.07 plus $15.32 tax
5 hours labor @ $95 an hour $475 labor for a total of $735.39
Alignment: $100
I am surprised it takes so long, when another forum member here says it takes him only 20 min/side with practice...

Lol... if you keep doing it everyday, its not everyday these guys are dumping E60 528-535-550is... Not many people are working on these cars. Its def time consuming! my installation was 5 hrs

i'm getting mine done this weekend and i cant wait, i have 19's also right now.. any rubbing? did they have to roll your fenders? also hows the ride is it smoother than the stock springs? thanks so much i appreciate the input

No rubbing, no rolling, rides way harder then stock on my XI. The roads are wavy in new jersey my car actually is riding to low for oem shocks. Im getting the bilsteins soon to handle that! But overall it looks 10x better!
