Maybe it's different for cars made for the German market. Maybe they don't need it. It feels lightning fast when I hit the gas pedal. Of course it might already have one fitted I've never felt like I was missing anything in terms of responsiveness.

Trust me, you will feel the difference.
Both my 05 520i and my father's 08 530i are german built(european) and have SBs and we both see the difference b4 and after. BIG DIFFERENCE TRUST ME.
320$ is well worth it. You can count on that!!!!!

I think I might not like the difference. I can imagine myself trying to creep towards the back of my garage and instead smashing through the wall.

The biggest single reason I'm not modding my car beyond what it is comes down to the German T?V laws. You can't put any part on that hasn't been officially approved/tested for the car. If you do, it's points on your license. Also, insurance companies won't pay out. It was for this reason that I was advised (by my local independent garage who I was going to pay to fit them) to not fit the LED angel-eye upgrades. The garage said they weren't allowed to fit them unless I could provide a T?V certificate proving they were approved for my car. Same goes for a SprintBooster. It's just not worth the risk.

Don't forget to remove the fire extinguishers from your garage too, that'll really speed up your car!!!
Isn't there SOMETHING you should be doing right now instead???

You could move to New Jersey - on the Turnpike or Garden State (can't remember which - it's been a few years) it's illegal to be in the left lane EXCEPT to pass, stay there and you get a ticket. Of course the other NJ law I love: If you're in an accident and both cars can still move, you must get to the shoulder or you both get a ticket - LOVE IT!!!!

I hear it is something to that effect, except that in reality all other (non-S motorists pull to the side, smile, and wave as you drive by. That's just what I heard...

That's a perfect example of how people should drive. Right lane when cruising and left lane when passing. No exceptions.....
