Welcome the the forum sliu_uu.

You'll ride nicely with the 523i. It is a great car.
The larger differance will be with the 530i and then with the 550i.

No offence to the HK sub-forum, but why should you guys isolate from the rest of us?

We read all the time about stuff from various parts of America and Europe so why not Asian and HK as well.

There's always something to learn about E60 problems, tech and commerce around it, whereever you are!

Polarbear greatings from the Polar Circuit,
Ricracing

PS. We got our first snow today but it did melt already.

Hey Ricracing you certainly have an impressive Bimmer history

From: 1978 E12 518, 1981 E12 520, 1987 E30 316, 1988 E30 320iA, 1990 K1 (motorcycle), 1995 E36 316i Compact, 1997 E36 320i, 1999 E46 320Ci, 2001 E46 325Ci, 2001 E39 525iA, to 2004 E60 525iA.

BTW, engine wise from an driving experience what do you find the biggest difference between the E39 525i vs. the E60 525i ?
