Good morning!

Just come back from the dealer, replaced the engine oil and the oil of the SMG (it will have to last) - Now I have all oils replaced (differential, engine, brakes, gearbox)

I had the 2005-2 Professional Nav disc and there was a special offer : "give us your old DVD and you will pay the new one with the 50% off" .

I have to say that we are almost friend with the boss, so I asked him "Mhh.. Mr. X.. Don't you have a 2006 or 2007 DVD ?" and was told "Mh, let me ask..."
We went to the warehouse and we found a 2007-2 belonging to someone who got the 2008 yesterday or today .

I gave to the employee my 2005-2 and he will ship it to Munich instead of the 2007-2 of that customer

And here someone recommends to buy it as new

Good thinking Alex.

Besides there is nothing wrong in using your contacts and I don't think there was anything wrong done here. In Munich there is probably a big DVD shredding machine that is destroying all these discs anyway because they can't do anything with them.

Now - if you have some contacts in the Munich DVD shredding department and can channel the 07-2 and 08-1 discs back into the market (read eBay) then thats a good business. Absolutely no cost but you get some decent revenue.

Great deal! I found my NAV disc at a German flea market and paid 12 Euro ($20) for it! It was a 06-1, my dealer swapped it even for a "new" 07-1. I love those kind of deals!

Nice work!
