My Ride: 2008 Silverstone II E60 M5 2012 E70 AW X5 50i Sport w/ LCI Aero Kit and Rocker Panels
I need to find a mechanic that can swap my stock springs for new lowering springs. Just the springs. I'm keeping the stock shocks.
Anyone know roughly what this should cost me? I assume a realignment is necessary as well, once the new springs are put in, right?
Anyone, anyone?

Nobody knows what it would roughly cost to have new springs put in? Just talking labor, not parts.

Shouldn't be that much unless you're like me and took it to a BMW Master Technician who charged me an arm and a leg.
Busta had his done for $450. That included everything but it's only good in Socal. Realistically, it'll range anywhere from $200 - $800 for installation. Hmmm..., now that I think about it my price included an alignment as well. Maybe I didn't get reemed like I though I did > $1K.

If you pay more than $350, you have paid too much. Its not a difficult install. Find a good shop that charges by the hour. Mine cost $250 total plus $150 for the alignment at BMW.
