Agree, we have many rich people in this forum who can afford thousands of dollar modification. My upgrade so far are the red reflector, silver steering wheels trim, wide angle driver side mirror element , M5 iDrive knob, V3 phone cradle and chrome grill. Not even the M5 front bumper and M5 side mirrors.

silver steering trim - http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=...2&hl=lcc014

Side mirror - How much did you spend for Mods/Upgrade?-bmw_002.jpg

The left side of the dotted line of this mirror is convex so it gives a better view of the car next to you. However, it is not as good as my Volvo's wide-angle side mirror.

The M5 iDrive knob is made of metal instead of plastic in regular E60. I don't have the picture with me right now.

Chrome Grill - How much did you spend for Mods/Upgrade?-bmw_006.jpg

I don't have the picture for the V3 cradle under the armrest. You should be able to find it in these forums.

My next mod (need to save some money) will be the rear view camera. Found one in ebay for $900 and need no coding after installation.

The kit from ebay is not ACM but a standalone retrofit kit for E60 and E39 : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-Genuine...90018QQtcZphoto.

It contains less components than the ACM retrofit kit. ACM retrofit kit comes with 2 modules : ACM and CAN interface. Rear view camera retrofit kit only comes with 1 module. So, it is your choice. ACM allow more than 1 AV input while the other does not.
