Hi All,

I am completely oblivious on the matter of suspension setting and ride height, sway bars etc, a friend of mine has a 525i M Sport, and when I drive his car the responsiveness of the steering wheel just blows my mind compared to that my steering wheel ( non sport e60 riding on 124 wheels) is like a rotary phone dialer (if anyone remembers them). The ride quality is not that bad either, if not more comfortable, it feels much better than mine when it drops on rough surface or bad road condition.

Now my question is , is there anything I can do to my car similar to a M sport car? any advice will be much appreciated.

regards

saad

Go to realoem.com an look at E60 with M suspension. It might give you an idea if you can swap non-sport with M version.

I was more leaning towards installing sway bars, new strut bar, maybe change the shocks? I dont know which shocks to get but people here often talk about the Eibach Pro or something....I just dont want my car to float like a boat as it does not....

Does your friend's car have Active Steering? If so, then there is nothing you can do to get this steering feel. I have sport package with out Active Steering and it has no where near the same steering response as the one w/ACS.

yes I have driven a non sport with AS, and its nothing like the M Sport, I think more than steering response its the minimum body roll which is more important to me. Hope the mod helps out a bit.
