Yes. With a $9K VF Engineering supercharger and $2K 3.73 differential, you will come close to 4 secs. Most likely around 4.3. Enough to probably beat e60 M5, E55, and CLS55. Not a Vette Z06. Those are sub 4s.
I like the diff., but it will surely limit my triple digit speed sustainability. VF, could you tell us what's going on besides "we're still testing. . . "Personally, I wouldn't touch the 06 Z06 or any highly moded late Z06. It's getting in the Lambo territory. Just an example, last weekend, a black 06 Z06 made me feel like I was standing still at 100 mph roll on the Beltway (early Sunday morning and no other car in sight). VF supercharger will get you 450+ HP, but not in the 550 territory. Otherwise, your drivetrain might twist like a screw.

You guys think its possible to turn the 545 to a 4 second car?
On second thought, I am not so sure. Here are figures for the Shelby Ford GT--which has 500 HP, 480 lbs torque, and a curb weight of 3944:
Ford Shelby GT500 CD 7/06 4.50 12.90 112.00
Ford Shelby GT500 MT 7/06 4.70 12.70 116.00
Ford Shelby GT500 RT 7/06 4.70 13.10 112.20
Also, I wouldn't characterize the blown 545i as an 500 HP M5 or fast Merc beater quite so quickly. I think it would be able to hold its own, or close to it, with the cars below.
BMW M5 CD 1/06 4.20 12.50 118.00
BMW M5 MT 3/06 4.80 12.90 114.90
BMW M6 CD 7/06 4.10 12.40 121.00
And, from the looks of the M5 numbers, I still am inclined to rethink 4.3 for the blown 545i. Here are fast Merc sedan numbers.
Mercedes CL600 CD 8/04 4.50 12.60 115.00
Mercedes CLS55 AMG CD 10/05 4.20 12.50 115.00
Mercedes CLS55 AMG MT 1/06 4.30 12.50 114.50
Mercedes CLS55 AMG MT 7/05 4.40 12.60 114.40
Mercedes CLS55 AMG RT 7/05 4.40 12.60 114.40
Mercedes CLS55 AMG CD 1/06 4.20 12.60 114.00
Mercedes CLS55 AMG MT 3/06 4.50 12.70 113.60
Mercedes E55 AMG RT 6/03 4.20 12.40 116.40
Mercedes E55 AMG CD 5/03 4.30 12.50 116.00
Mercedes S600 CD 6/6 4.20 12.60 115.00
It will take some doing to beat these cars regularly. Also the AMG 65 numbers are not yet among those above.

Party pooper. I'll have to rethink the supercharger then if it can't beat an E55.

Znod has clocked his 545 at 4.9 and I think all he has was a B&B exhaust. Or I think he removed it. I forgot.
I have the Dinan CAI, throttle body and exhaust and although I do feel a seat-of-the-pants increase in power/acceleration, I do agree that dyno testing before and after would prove for certain if the mods really improved hp/torque. Either way, I'm still planning on getting the Dinan software and air mass meter that's supposed to be coming out. I'm thinking that would add another 15-20 hp so if Dinan is true to their claim, my car would put out about 370 hp. Man, that number sounds good...... hehe
Short of a supercharger or bigger displacement engine though, I don't think you can hit 400hp or get it to the mid 4 sec range.

Thanks for all of the info guys-
I think i know what I want/need to do to get this project going; hopefully next summer I will getting that 545 or might just get the 535i because I am sure they will put that twin turbo in the 5... so depends on what is more affordable and also more tuneable
