Hello folks.

So it's been a year or two that I've been rolling around on wheels without TPM's. This means the TPM light on the dashboard has been on the entire time. I want to make the TPM light go away by installing TPM's in my aftermarket wheels...

I've been eyeballing my OEM wheels and wondering if I can just take the tires off and remove the TPM's and install them into my aftermarket wheels. I know people have done this in the past (simply moving TPM's over from the factory wheels to the aftermarket ones), but I'm curious if some wheels prohibit the installation of our OEM TPM's, and how to know ahead of time if my aftermarket wheels prohibit the installation of the TPM's...would be nice to know ahead of time, right?

I did take a look at one of my aftermarket wheels before installing the tire, and it did have a small sort of L-bracket attached to the barrel, and the L-bracket had a hole in it about the same diameter as a pencil and nothing was plugged into the L-bracket...are these where the TPM's get installed? Does anybody know what I'm referring to?

Thanks ahead of time guys. Love this forum.
