My Ride: 2006 530i.... Saphire Black Metallic...19 inch Axis Milanos....Auburn dakota interior.....ACS rear lip spoiler... And a whole lot of head turns ;)

hey dominic just wondering exactly how hard is it to install one of your RGB units? does it require pulling the dash apart etc?

Hi
You don't have to pull appart the dash. The mod goes behind the screen.
I hope to have a PAL E60 unit for Hobi to test for me next week. After he tests it I am sure he will let everyone know the results. For those of you that need a NTSC E60 unit we have them in stock.

The mod works with 5 and 6 series and new 3 series nav or no nav and gives you 2 video inputs 1 for dvd and 1 for backup camera. Feel free to call me at 718-763-7367

My Ride: 04 525i sport, premium, winter, xenon. xm satellite radio, navwithtv dvd system, 1 jl 10w7 sub powered by xtant 1001x amp. 20x8.5/10 on nitto nt555 rubber. acs roof and decklid spoiler, breyton front spoiler.

Forgive my ignorance, but can nav still be used when a movie is not playing? Or is the navigation completely eliminated once the tv/video equipment is installed?

The module overrides the screen. So, idrive is fully functionable, but you can't see the screen. You do get nav arrows in the HUD, if you have nav.

Hi Dominic the only problem with that is I wanted to see it in person and I WANT someone to put it in for me too, I'm in MA. and when I called you a few months back you said you can't recomend anyone for me.
