Can someone point me in the right direction? Some of the older threads looked like they were for the D2S bulbs. I have a 2007 and have D1S.

Thanks!

It's pretty much the same way as DS2 bulbs. You'll need to remove your headlights. Once you open it up, it's self explanatory.

Do I need to remove that big black cover on the back of the lights? I had them out this morning, but those damn clips to remove the big plastic cover is a PIA. I was afraid of breaking the clips.

Yo C, you have to remove the whole headlight.

Once you take that out, then take out the big plastic piece with two snappers.

The D1S bulb is easy as hell, just unplug it first, then twist out the bulb. It'll have this plastic piece around the bulb, take that out and change it out with the new bulb, put it back into the headlight and twist back in, plug it back and you're done. =)

Use a flat head screw driver to push the tab down and out. It's almost impossible open if you use just your fingers. Be careful not to stab yourself.

OK. Getting up at 6:30 to play golf at T of OB. If they are booked and can't squeeze me in early, I'll be at your house at 7:15. I like my eggs over easy and don't burn the bacon.

If I do play, I'll ping you after golf (around 11ish).
