I've got myself a video module to plug in to the i-drive screen, I was all set up and ready to fit it but my Torx screwdriver is too long! Does anybody know where, in the UK, I can get hold a right angled or short torx set so i can undo the screws??

Thanks!

There is two torx screw that you need to take out. Those are by the air vent of the i-Drive screen.

Thanks - but I think you only read the title of my message and not the actual message itself, which says that my torx drivers are too long

Buy the torx bits and a pair of plier will work. Or you can buy a set of pocket torx set.

Or use a torx bit and a socket wrench...

Pics of what? But anyway - no not at the moment sorry, as I don't have a digital camera

If you mean the torx driver, I found a multi-bit set. All put together it's too long, but by just using the actual bit and the "holder", it's enough of length to use as a normal screwdriver without having to put the full handle on.

I have the i-Drive interface installed. I'll post some pic and provide my review tonight.
