Weird question, I know.
I have a pre-LCI 550 sport and I am intending on installing the shocks, springs and bump stops from an LCI 550 sport. What I want to know is whether there is any difference in camber, caster etc... between these two vehicles. I'd guess the dealer enters your VIN in the alignment computer and it spits out the settings for the mechanics to use. I wonder if a tire chain or a privately owned BMW repair shop does the same thing? I don't think the dealer would use settings that differ from those the computer spits out based on your real VIN for liability reasons. Any suggestions?? DRP |
A tire chain or a privately owned BMW repair shop can do it,
but make sure to ask them questions to make sure they know what they are doing. |
