Guys,
I want to get rid of my OEM Mtech spoiler that came with the car. Since its been sitting on my car for a while I am a little hesitant to do anything myself and seek professional advice.
How do you think I can remove that baby off my trunk without damaging my paint. Looked up the DIY section and couldnt find anything solid.
All help is greatly appreciated !

Thanks,

Hi theracerboss,
If the spoiler was installed using double sided tape, use dental floss to get between the spoiler and the trunk and saw your way through the adhesive. After that's done use "Goo Gone" to remove the adhesive residue from the trunk. Goo Gone won't damage the paint. This is the technique that I used on more than one occasion and I didn't have any problems. Hope this helps.

Could I also use this technique to remove the emblems from my trunk?

Are you planning to put on a different spoiler or going natural ?

With the emblem, use a flat head. Wrap the tip with a towel or tape it up so it doesn't scratch the paint. Then just pry it off (for lack of better description). Check youtube for how to videos. It's rather easy.
