Default How bright are the LCI taillight Rods

Hi,

Does anyone know how bright the lci taillight rods are during the day? I plan to do a retrofit, I wanted to disable the lights behind the rods and only use the rods for brakes light. Do they even show up at all in the summer day time?

if you do it correctly, the rods and the inner bulbs (euro fogs) will then be your brake lights, plus you have the third back light on the rear window.

Would the rods them self be bright enough to use without using the euro fogs? The euro fogs work on mines.

Good question, because most people that do the ricky light mod are in the USA, so the euro fogs aren't in use, and now they're use for brakes. You should try contacting Bruce Miranda and get a better answer. He's in the UK so he might be more familiar with having the euro fog working on the LCI lights.
