how aggressive can we go in the front for wheels?

Your Volks were 19x8.5 +30 and 19x10.5 +25. 19x11 TE37s are only available for Porsche. Volk does not make a 19x9.5 +30, besides the fact they would have hit your struts with either the 12mm or 8mm spacers you said you were running.

Really? Because I measured them from lip to lip when I was selling them. And from what my Volk dealer said, Volk will make any size and offset you want as long as its in an order of 40 or more wheels, which is what they last ordered and hence how they got those sizes.

A 19x9.5 +30 will not fit very well on an e46 m3 without at least 2 degrees of negative camber, which is why the standard e46 m3 size is 19x8.5 +30 front. Regardless, from both of my e60s, I can see that a 19x9.5 +30 will contact the front struts with either of the two spacer sizes you claimed to be using. A 19x8.5 +30 would have cleared the struts with either the 8mm or the 12mm spacers you say you used.
Volk will take custom orders with a minimum of 20 pieces of each specified size, but even then they are selective as to what they are willing to make. Personally knowing someone at Mackin (the US distributor) helps I suppose.

Well for one I didnt order the wheels, they did and put them on their m3. When they sold that they sold me the wheels. I honestly cant say how aggressive they lowered their m3 and how much negative camber they had because I never saw it modded, only when they returned it to stock and parted it out.
I know that when I had it i was running -2.3 degrees camber in the rear and about -1.8 in the front. I did have a problem clearing the front struts with my KWs but that was fixed running a spacer in the front. To fix the issue of rubbing in the back, we cut the fender lining and rolled the fenders.
Being neither here nor there im trying to figure out how much more aggressive I can run. I already ordered my wheels so its kinda a done deal but this info can be good for those who are still trying to figure it out

There were no stickers on the inside of the barrel and you can only see the sizing when the rim is off which was far enough back that im going from memory so youll have to forgive me if some of its a little off.

Wow if you can get E46 M3 offset wheels to fit on our cars, they must have been running a REALLY aggressive setup. The fronts would be defnitely need spacers when transferred to our cars but if the rear fit ours without a spacer, that E46 must have looked siiiiiiick! Although if memory serves me correct, the E46 M3 fenders are already rolled...

Actually E46 rear fitment would be something like 19x10 et25, which can easily fit on an E60. It's not "aggressive" but it fits.

Back to the question at hand.. if 9.5 et12 fits.. that opens up a few more options.

It's all about the back-side, leave the front be, but work that rear like there's no tomorrow. Looks better that way . Mild front and fat/concave back, mmmm... and by that I mean camber and fender roll... and by fat I mean wheel lip of course.
