I was actually on my way to Minute Muffler in Dublin to have my Vibrant 1792 resonators swapped to 1793s in hopes of eliminating the drone I experience from 2,000-2,500rpm. After the swap I can report the drone is now slightly suppressed and also lower in the rev-range, say 1,800-2,200 and 20% quieter. Not enough, as I (unfortunately) have an AT and the needle is often hovering around 2,000rpm.
I have been looking into some branch resonators to directly attack the drone but space on my car is limited and 1/4 resonators will need to be around 2.5"D x 17" L each and would require I restructure my muffler delete. I may just take my old 1792 resonators (which are ~4"D x 9" L, cap them and add them on as makeshift helmholtz resonators, just to see.
I have another thread on here discussing my exhaust, I will update it with my findings.
