Well, someone wants to sell me a used, two-month-old B&B exhaust for the 530 for $375. What do you guys think of the way it sounds? I don't really mind the loudness/droning; I just don't want it to sound ricey. Here's a soundclip from B&B's website. Thanks!

Edited 3/3/08:
Here it is finally installed:

That sounds terrific! Not ricey, but quite racy. Enjoy.

Interesting!! Nice looking quality (at least in the pics) and the sound is nice. The only issue I'm struggling with is the "rice" question. I do see the Civics, etc. all the time here in the LA area and most are just loud "posers". That brings such a negative picture (to my mind anyway) that I'd sure not want to be seen as a "poser" who just added a loud exhaust to an otherwise stock car, looking for attention....hope that makes sense

But the sound in that clip is great!! What do they normally retail for and are you getting a good deal? Also, are they relatively quiet in normal driving and just get loud when you are driving more agressively, OR are they loud all the time? I looked for a long time and found a set of axleback exhaust with 4' dual walled tips for my GT 500 that are reasonably quiet - unless I'm getting on it....no noticable drone either!

Good Luck

I have been happy with mine. The quality is very good -- mine had been used for abouy 2 years/20K miles and still looked like it was new. I paid $300 and was happy with the price so $375 for one almost new is a good deal. I had it installed ($20) and the fit was perfect with no adjustment needed.

Sound is good -- not too loud but you know it is there when you push. There is a little bit of a drone if the revs drop too low but it isn't bad at all. The only time it happens for me is if traffic backs up on the interstate and I try to accelerate again from about 1800 rpm or so without down shifting.
