Just ordered my RPI scoop in black from Trinity

Guys support the good vendors and manufacturers, RPI makes great stuff and Eloy has always been really helpful when I had questions.

its a good effort but the kit is so cheap to begin with

i dunno but when people ask what parts i put on the car, i have pride saying that I have some of the best companies on my car, not "oh well I made this myself because it was just a box"

Its simple physics. Right now air is going to the stock box, but minimal. Introduction of the scoop allows for BETTER/MORE airflow than having nothing. Yes the results may not be good as the RPI scoops since they have put hours into design, perfecting the right angles (90degrees i believe) for maximum air travel.) At the end, something is better than nothing, and I will be proving it soon as the dyno is up and running.

did you make one, or are you testing it with RPI once?

LMFAO... a mudpan.... Do you really think you will gain any hp off of that? RPI actually bends the scoops and has certain dimensions for a reason... because it has been dyno tested OVER and OVER again... not just some random dimensions and call it good... lol, what a waste of 2$!
