Dranged, again right! RPI is the best!!
Glad you finally see the error of your ways.

I am doing some remodeling. Let me know if you need and plumbing or duct work for mods. Also, my 4 yr old has some playdough she isn't using anymore, I could send you that too.

wtf?

I just searched for this "deranged" guy's posts and found his 166 thread.

From what I gather, his car is stock height. The car look just fine to me
"not lowered".

I don't understand why people are making a big fuss on lowering a car.

The car looks just good "as is".

Or I'm just getting old.

I would be willing to be 9 out of 10 guys on here who claim that "lowered looks better"
are under the age of 30......5-ish.
radzm550i wasn't talking about you, he's talking about this thread

Humm... a little digging finds that this blower was from Javad Shadzi (at 034 Motorsport): http://www.motorgeek.com/phpBB2/viewtopic....17f34612cfe909b

The dyno fans that these guys (whoever they are) were using for the RPI scoop is considerably smaller:

I'd still like to see a graph of the same car with a data logger capturing the voltage of the MAF and intake air temperature with and with out a scoop [DIY or professional] while driving at speed.

That's a 30" patterson high velocity model fan. 12,000 cfm, 70mph air at 8' distance. It, like many of the higher powered dyno fans, is able to produce enough pressure to affect relative horsepower readings.

Sorry Miguex but you and Ellicit are in the wrong here.

I agree with DRANGED and the others that RPI only posted info to help you and Ellicit understand that they put a lot of effort into make the right design for their scoops so as to not lose power. They didn't put anyone down for attempting a DIY but only provided insights on what they went through so that others are aware that they might be doing more harm than good without proper research/engineering/trial-and-error, whatever you want to call it.

And as for mchammer, I also know him on M5Board and whether or not you guys agree with his posts here, he only came on to defend a vendor and friend that he has a trusting relationship with in RPI and he does not work for RPI. So if Ellicit is accusing RPI of making up a fake account to argue on this thread then he's wrong and he should apologize. Whether he feels he needs to is a different story.

Hu. Ok. Cool. Thanks!
Still looks small ;) I guess it's not the size, it's how you use it? haha.
